Voxta Windows Speech (STT)
Built-in Windows speech recognition. Free, offline, basic quality.
Windows Speech uses Windows' built-in speech recognition. Free, offline, supports any languages installed in Windows. Accuracy is basic compared to neural STT — useful as a free fallback or for offline-only setups.
Windows Speech is experimental.
Setup
Make sure your language is installed in Windows
Settings → Time & Language → Language → Add a language. Make sure the Speech recognition capability is included.
Add to Voxta
Manage Services → + Add Services → Windows Speech → Add.
If already added for TTS, the same instance now also handles STT.
