Acquiring an API Key from 11ElevenLabs
Step 1: Choose and Purchase a Subscription
- Navigate to the 11ElevenLabs subscription page.
- Browse through the available plans and select one that suits your needs. Note: The $5 Starter subscription is usually sufficient for obtaining an API key.
- Complete the purchase process. If you haven’t already signed up for an 11ElevenLabs account, you’ll be prompted to do so.
Step 2: Retrieve Your API Key
- Log in to your 11ElevenLabs account.
- Look for a user avatar image encircled, located on the right-hand side of the screen, and click on it to open the “Profile Settings” menu.
- Navigate to the “Account” tab within “Profile Settings.”
- Your API key will be displayed here, hidden by bullets for security reasons. To copy it, click on the field containing the API key and copy it to your clipboard.
Step 3: Integrate the API Key into Voxta
- Launch the Voxta application.
- Navigate to the Services menu.
- Click on the “+ Add Services” button.
- Look for 11ElevenLabs in the list and click the “+ Add” button next to it.
- A designated field will appear for the API key. Paste your copied API key into this field.
- Click “Save” to complete the setup.
With this API key now integrated, you’ll be able to utilize 11ElevenLabs’ Text to Speech (TTS) functionalities within your Voxta application.
