Voxta Characters
The Voxta Characters screen: browse, filter and sort characters, start or resume a chat, and import or export character cards and packages.
The Characters screen is the gallery of every character on your server. Pick one to chat, click into one to view its details, or hit Create to make a new one.

Browsing
The catalog shows each character as a card with their avatar, name, and tags. You can:
- Filter by name with the search bar.
- Filter by tag.
- Sort by name, creator, recent chat, chat count, date created, date modified or size.
- Hide NSFW characters (if you have that preference set on Profile).
Each character's ··· menu has Readme (when the creator wrote one), Delete, Download, Clone, Hide, Favorite, Edit, Change voice and Chat. Change voice edits just the voice service, spoken language, voice and voice gender, without opening the editor.
Starting a chat
Click any character to open its page:
- Start Chat — or New Chat and Resume Last Chat when you already have one. Resume is disabled while that chat is open in another window or device.
- Starting with scenario — the character's default scenario. Click × to skip it, or Choose a Scenario to pick another.
- Edit character — jump into Studio to modify the character.
- The readme, when there is one, expands under the name.
Chat on an assistant opens New work chat instead, to pick a workspace first.
Creating
Create Character offers Manual Creation, AI Assisted or From VRoid Hub, then opens the Studio character editor. See Studio → Characters for the full field reference.
Browse Content Hub, in the Create button's menu next to Import Character, installs characters from a Content Hub.
Voxta ships with a few example characters (Voxta, Catherine, George). They're good references for what a complete character profile looks like.
Import / export
Characters import from .png (a Voxta-format character card) or .voxpak (a package bundling several resources). Older .voxpkg and .vxz packages still import.
Export the same way — a single character as .png, or several inside a .voxpak. Assets only travel in a package.
