Voxta Characters
Browse, search, and select characters. Edit them in Studio.
The Characters screen is the gallery of every character on your server. Pick one to chat, click into one to view its details, or hit Create to make a new one.

Browsing
The catalog shows each character as a card with their avatar, name, and tags. You can:
- Filter by name with the search bar.
- Filter by tag.
- Sort by recency, name, or creation date.
- Hide NSFW characters (if you have that preference set on Profile).
Starting a chat
Click any character to open it. From there:
- Chat — start a new conversation, or Resume an existing one (if one exists).
- Scenario picker — pick which scenario to run the chat under. Defaults to the character's default scenario.
- Edit — jump into Studio to modify the character.
Creating
The + Create button takes you to the Studio character editor — same surface as editing an existing character. See Studio → Characters for the full field reference.
Voxta ships with a few example characters (Voxta, Catherine, George). They're good references for what a complete character profile looks like.
Import / export
Characters can be imported from .png (Voxta-format character card) or .voxpkg (a package that bundles multiple resources).
Export the same way — single character as .png, or bundle several into a .voxpkg.
