Voxta VRoid Hub
Browse VRoid Hub from inside Voxta, pick a 3D avatar, and build a talking character around it in one step.
VRoid Hub is a large library of free 3D anime-style avatars in the .vrm format. Voxta has it built in: you browse it from the app, and Voxta downloads the avatar, writes a character to match it, and shows it as a 3D avatar that talks back.
What you need
- A VRoid Hub account (free).
- Voxta Cloud connected. It handles the VRoid Hub sign-in.
- A vision service, only if you want Voxta to build the character from the avatar's picture. Importing an avatar onto an existing character doesn't need one.
Link your account
The first time you open VRoid Hub, Voxta asks you to link it.
Press Link VRoid Hub. You're sent to VRoid Hub to sign in and approve Voxta, then brought back.
A VRoid Hub account linked message confirms it. If you started from the character wizard, it reopens where you left off.
In the desktop and mobile apps, the sign-in opens in your system browser and returns to the app on its own. Finish it within 5 minutes or it expires.
The link belongs to your Voxta user, not to a character. To remove it, open any character's Apps tab, go to the 3D Avatar section and press Unlink. When the link expires, Voxta asks you to link again.
Build a character from an avatar
On the Characters page, press Create Character, then From VRoid Hub.
Pick an avatar (see Browsing below).
Optionally write a Custom concept: who you want this character to be. Leave it empty and Voxta decides from the avatar alone.
Press Build Character. Voxta looks at the avatar's picture, writes the character (name, personality, appearance and the rest), sets the picture as its portrait, downloads the .vrm into the character's assets, and selects it as the 3D avatar.
When the character is ready, pick a voice with Select Character Voice, then View & Edit or start chatting.
Building reads the avatar's picture, so it needs a vision service. Without one, Build Character stays greyed out. Enable one in Manage Modules.
Give an existing character an avatar
Open the character, go to the Apps tab, and find the 3D Avatar section. The VRoid Hub row has Browse VRoid Hub. From there:
- Tap an avatar (the ones with a download mark) to import its
.vrminto this character's assets and select it as the Default 3D Avatar. Nothing else about the character changes. - The magic wand on a card runs the same build as above. You choose Overwrite (followed by the character's name) to rewrite this character around the avatar, or Create new to leave it alone and make another one.

Downloadable only is on by default, so you only see avatars you can actually import. Each card shows the creator and the heart and download counts. The 3D badge opens the model on VRoid Hub, where you can spin it around before choosing.
Licenses
Every VRoid Hub avatar has its creator's conditions of use. Voxta only shows all-ages avatars whose license lets anyone use them as an avatar, plus your own uploads.
Before you use someone else's avatar, Voxta shows its Conditions of use: avatar use, age rating, sexual and violent content, alterations, redistribution, commercial use and attribution, with a link to the full terms. Press Agree and use to go ahead.
Agreeing is between you and the creator. If a license asks for credit, give it wherever you share the character.
Troubleshooting
